I’m not saying diets don’t work, because a 2007 UCLA report showed they do work for between 22-25% of people, however if you’ve been on the dieting treadmill over any length of time, it’s quite likely you fall into the 75-78% group, who require additional help to reach your long-term goals.
If you’re overweight or considered clinically obese, then you may have collected a range of other symptoms or conditions over time, where these just add to the health load of a what’s wrong with me syndrome?
Are you suffering with any of the Big Five conditions are aligned to being overweight:
- ‘Bad’ cholesterol
- Diabetes type II
- Heart disease
- High blood pressure
There are other associated and less life threatening conditions such as:
- Mood swings
- Long term stress
- Acute and chronic illness
Perhaps you’re experiencing pain symptoms like:
- Headaches and migraine
- Muscular-skeletal challenges
- Mobility, flexibility, reluctance to move
- Accidents and injury
Are you suffering with other seemingly unrelated symptoms around Hormonal Health:
- Thyroid (low / high)
- The adrenals
- Menopausal (pre-mid-post) challenges
Do you just feel uncomfortable in yourself or struggle to assert yourself in certain environments like: work, home, with certain people, in certain places:
- Lack of confidence
