It’s fairly well-known and accepted that we should be eating more fruit and vegetables, especially since the 5-a-day recommendation that began back in the 1990’s.
And we aspire to, in order to help avoid all the nasties we believe are inherent as part of a disease free life, at least in theory.
But do we? This is what NHS Choices has to say about the 5-A-Day.
Life Is Busy And Convenience Rules
If you need at least 5-a-day and the latest European standards are saying it’s more, then how do you cram them in unless you’re incredibly organised, or already in a great head-space with food.
And I have to confess I get lost in the business of the day, so I forget, and I’ve been looking for quite some time for help with this, but wasn’t sure which to chose.
Having looked around at what was available I finally decided on Juice Plus, and this was mostly because of the great research they’ve conducted themselves or other scientific bodies have researched.
My Results
What has surprised me, although from past experience, I thought I would know quite quickly, have been my results from the get-go:
- Increased energy
- Better focus
- Improved concentration
- Absence of cravings
- Better quality of day
However, I did begin with the Juice Plus Complete meal supplement too (you have to scroll down the page). This is mostly because I have a tendency to skip breakfast, a habit born of being a smoker for 30-yrs, and although I stopped 16+ yrs ago, old habits die hard 🙂
But the upshot is that I like it and know my body needs it because this year, having done much of the energy and emotional work, 2013 is my year for the ‘physical’ and having seen a difference already, I’m sure Juice Plus is the right choice for me.
If you want to know more … let me know, as I’m happy to share what’s useful for you, but you can also visit my Juice Plus website for more information, if you wish beforehand.
And I’ll keep you posted.
